2013 Rain Barrel Workshops Registration deadline Feb. 25 Rain Barrels are an efficient, low-cost method for collecting rainwater. Rain barrels are placed at downspouts to capture rainwater which can be used for watering a garden or your houseplants. Attend this workshop and learn the benefits of rain barrels, how to use them, as well as proper location and installation. All workshops begin at 6 p.m. Advance payment of $50 is required and includes one barrel. Additional barrels can be ordered and paid for at the time of registration.
