Recycling & Waste Reduction District offers an opportunity ONCE a year for Porter County residents to drop off any tires.

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO TIRE COLLECTION

As the cost to provide services continues to rise, the district has been faced with some difficult choices about how to maintain services.  The tire collection event will still be provided; however, a change in the fee structure starts in 2010. First four passenger tires from each participating vehicle will be accepted for FREE.  No tires above 20" will be accepted in the 'first four free' offer.

Fee Structure

• Tires up to 20": First four free; $3/tire above and beyond four
• Tires from 20" to 25": $5/tire
• Tires over 25": $15/tire

All rates are per participating vehicle delivering tires.
